🪪 Chernarus ID Cards Have Arrived
Every survivor now spawns with an official Chernarus ID Card uniquely tied to their character. This isn't just another inventory item—it's your identity in the world of Project Ashes.
Features Unique to every character – Each ID Card is generated specifically for your survivor. Live character portrait – Your ID displays the actual appearance of your current character, making every card truly one of a kind. Protected while alive – Your ID Card cannot be looted from you while you're still alive. Lootable after death – Once you die, your ID Card drops with your body, acting like a military dog tag and serving as proof of your kill. The Beginning of Something Bigger
For now, your ID Card is your personal identification and a trophy for those who defeat you.
But this is only the beginning.
Future updates will expand the ID system with exclusive functionality, potentially granting access to secure locations, restricted traders, special events, unique services, and other content available only to verified survivors. Your ID may become one of the most valuable items you own.
Viewing Your ID
Your ID Card can be viewed at any time by pressing End by default. If you prefer a different key, the hotkey is fully customizable in the game's controls/settings.
Protect your identity. Recover it if you fall. And remember—someone else's ID Card may become far more valuable than just another trophy.
